The city itself has used up available building sites for hotels and apartment towers and is now expanding in the direction of the soon to be built New International Airport which will be situated about 45 kilometres NE from the city.

 

This airport is designed to also serve the city of Barranquilla (population 3 million). Currently under construction is a 4 lane highway passing thru our resort and connecting the new airport to the cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla.

As well as the attractions of our resort, Cartagena offers an active night life and many historical attractions that has been the driving force for tourists to visit this part of Colombia for many years.
